Minutes of a special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Olive held
Tuesday, June 18, 2002, 7:00 pm at the Town Office Building in West Shokan, NY.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss with Assessor Mike Summer the
applicants recently interviewed for the position of part-time clerk to the
Assessor.

The Town Board discussed three applicants at length: Brenda Van Leuvan, Carla
Madsen, and Patricia Surak. At the recommendation of Assessor Mike Sommer the
general consensus of the Town Board was to hire Carla Madsen as part-time clerk
in the Assessor’s Office. The position will be seventeen (17) hours a week at
$9.00 per hour and will be for a probationary period of six months. The work
hours, which are subject to change, will be Monday, 5-8 pm; Tuesday, 12-4 pm;
Wednesday, 12-4 pm; Thursday, 1-4 pm; and Friday, 1-4 pm.
All business pertinent having been discussed the Town board adjourned on a
Leifeld/La Monda motion at 8:30 pm.
