DRY ICE AVAILABLE and Storm Updates – 2pm

The Town of Olive Town Board has arranged for another dry ice station at the Olive Bridge Fire House today from 12pm – 6pm. As of 2pm Wednesday, 1100 residents are without power in Olive. Central Hudson estimates total restoration by Friday.  The Town Offices are without telephone service, but if you need to contact the Supervisor’s Office, please contact Susan Horner’s Cell Phone at 657-9639 for storm related help. We will update you in the morning to let you know if we expect to do another dry ice run.

Halloween Trick or Treating is encouraged throughout the Town and the curfew is 8pm for teenagers 16 and under. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AS THERE STILL MAY BE LINES DOWN!

As of this morning, Ulster County DOT informed us that Dubois Road in Shokan is still officially closed. Please do not attempt to pass the barriers. Crispell and Mill Road in Olivebridge are now open!
