Youth Basketball Program

The leaves have all fallen and the temperatures continue to drop so we must now keep our children active indoors. One way to do that is by signing your child up for the 2011/2012 Youth Basketball Program.

This activity is open to children that reside in the Town of Olive in grades 4, 5, and 6. Children residing in the towns of Shandaken, West Hurley area and Woodstock should contact their towns’ recreation department so to sign up with their local program.

Children that reside in the Town of Olive will be placed on a team and play in games weekly against teams from the other towns.

All children residing in the Town of Olive wishing to participate in this program must register on Thursday December 15th 2011, in the Onteora High School Gym at 7:00pm.  At the registration night, a player draft and player clinic will be held for all the children participating.

Children should wear sneakers and athletic clothing for the clinic. All fees are due at the time of registration {$30.00}

If you have questions please call the Olive Rec. phone 657-6920.
